With 15,000 reporters in town to cover our Convention, as well as thousands of visitors and millions of viewers tuning in across the country our behind-the-scenes, real-time content reached millions of people nationwide.

Our digital footprint was greater than any in Convention history. We reached 18 million views on Facebook alone, as well as over 4.5 million views on YouTube Live. Between our RNC 2016: Official App and Amazon FireTV app, we had over 100,000 downloads.

New look.

Everything is social.
From our first-ever Snapchat account to our Digital Loft that included Instagram and Twitter experiences for speakers after they got off stage, we put a new emphasis on social at our Convention. Check out Eric Trump in the Digital Loft: https://twitter.com/GOPconvention/status/755953650850148352

Buying local.
We invested heavily in our efforts to get Convention news back to local markets. We grew our presence from one studio in 2012 to four so we could book GOP messengers from the easiest possible locations whether our surrogates were at Media Row, on the suite level of the Q or even on the floor of the Convention. We bought around the clock satellite time for live and live to tape interviews and fed b-roll and exclusive interviews to local stations who weren’t able to be in Cleveland, marking yet another Convention First.

Surrogate booking is king. We had a team of roughly 300 wonderful volunteers working from our Communications and Digital trailers to make all of this happen with many of them working specifically on booking. We booked GOP messengers on over 1,000 local TV interviews alone, not to mention hundreds of local radio interviews, over a thousand national radio and print interviews and hundreds of national television interviews. We also booked speakers for dozens of delegation events across the Cleveland area, handling everything from the booking to logistics and messaging. Did you see any of the team’s behind-the-scenes material on the balloons or this Bret Baier tour through the Digital Loft with our CEO?https://twitter.com/BretBaier/status/755050828281458689

Media Row makes history.
For the first time in Convention history, we created Media Row, a creative space designed to give newsmakers a platform to cover our Convention. It was half the size of an NFL football field and hundreds of members of the media and Republican messengers conducted thousands of interviews. From Ben Carson to Governor Rick Scott, Congressman Marsha Blackburn, Ambassador John Bolton and Jerry Falwell Jr., it was the place to be. In fact, Media Row doubled the number of outlets from 2012— meaning more interviews and more audiences reached with our message here in Cleveland. Even a few of our Democrat friends like Dan Pfeiffer and Mo Elleithee made appearances. I’m guessing they’ll be telling their folks in Philly what they are missing. Final Night of  the 2016 GOP Convention in Photos

The balloons have dropped and Donald J. Trump has officially accepted the Republican nomination for President. Americans across the country came together–whether packing the Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland or watching from home –to hear unifying messages about how to “Make America One Again.” Speakers, including Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, Peter Thiel, and GOP Chairman Reince Priebus, presented a common message: we are stronger together.

Donald J. Trump was welcomed to the stage by his daughter, Ivanka, who outlined an agenda of working together to build an economy where there is opportunity for all.  After accepting the nomination, Donald Trump outlined his path to “Make America Great Again” and a return to a nation that respects law and order.

The road to November starts now, and the fight is just beginning. We hope you enjoyed the 2016 Republican National Convention!

If you missed any of the action, you can see it all here.
